The Twitter upload stated: "The Supreme Court ruled there is a constitutional right to carry handguns for self-defense. Texas law allows people to carry without a license. The Court's liberals argued the decision could hamper efforts to address shootings such as the one in Uvalde."

In broad terms, I think Americans should be able to own a firearm as long as they are reasonable people who obey the law. It seems to me that continuing to carry your gun around on your belt or someplace else after you leave your place when you visit somewhere public can make sense, depending on the details. A location such as a church can sensibly ask you not to bring in firearms. Yet if you are going to a public park at night or are in a similar situation such that crimes happen more often then before, you naturally want to protect yourself. I still feel concerned about terrible people who don't care about gun safety such as muggers or stalkers being able to have stock piles of guns.
