The Compound Effects

Scientists are predicting that the sea levels are rising at an exponential rate. The amount of level increase in the time of 30 years is the same as what once took 100 years. “The report projects that sea levels will rise an average of 10 to 12 inches by 2050, which is about as much as the increase during the 100 years from 1920 to 2020”. Even though we know greenhouse gases are causing global warming, restricting or reducing the amount of carbon emissions will not lower the sea level projections. The only thing we can do is prepare for the changes soon to come. https://www.nytimes.com/2022/02/15/climate/us-rising-sea-levels.html
