The slow decline of newspapers

Newspapers have been around since the early 1600; the first newspaper was created by a german man named Johann Carolus and were extremely popular and were the only way to receive information up until the rise of technology. The rise of technology and social media gave people access to present and past information with only a few clicks. With this, newspapers became a thing of the past, and because of social media, newspapers have seen a drastic decline over the past couple of years. Many newspaper companies are shutting down every year because of the lack of demand for newspapers. And with the technology improving each year, newspapers will soon be a thing of the past. Some even say that “newspapers as we know them will be extinct across the entire globe by 2040”.
