What is the value of a front page for newspaper? Some may say it's to highlight the most important pieces of news covered in the newspaper. Others may say it's to attract readers so that they spend time on the news. In the case of Austin American-Statesman today, it's to remind people of the disaster that had just happened in Uvalde, Texas and the changes we could make in the future to prevent similar incidents from happening. One simple sentence said by the school police officer, "Arredondo describes what happened outside classroom" raises a reminder of what we could've done better to stop this from happening.
