In this past year, 2019, 12 US journalists have been killed while traveling and documenting Mexico. The summer was the most brutal a man named Nevith Condés Jaramillo was stabbed to death in Mexico state. His family then posted videos and pictures about the story on Facebook and Youtube. A week after his incident, 3 more popped up dead. Two in the southern part of Guerrero, and the other in Veracruz. Then a four of Mexican reporters were also killed as the president said "As long as there is not a credible fight against impunity these murders against journalists are not going to stop, an estimated 99% of all journalist homicide cases go unpunished" (Mendiola). People in mexico arent fans of journalists and the president isnt doing anything about it.
