With the new and improved 5G cell towers popping up around the world many people are excited for the new possibilities that come along with them; faster internet speed, not having to sit through long loading screens, all of this sounds great to most although some people are worried for their health. According to a much-outdated graph showing the effects of high-frequency microwaves absorbing into the brain, the findings were not only "likely to be a serious health hazard" but completely false. Before other scientists had the chance to research this data however it went viral and now the thoughts of "cell phones cause cancer" were in everyone's head. Turns out that Dr. Curry's data didn't account for the fact that our skin blocks out the microwaves but that didn't stop people from believing the first report they saw on the internet.
