"The outbreak spread to hundreds" Daniel Hernandez writes in the article by Vox titled “The Haunting of Girlstown”. Hernandez writes about the odd and almost supernatural like story of a boarding school located in Central Mexico where in 2007 girls began to feel pain in their legs, nausea and fevers. What follows is an interesting article explaining the investigation done by the government and the psychiatrist that interviewed the girls, reasons as to why this was possibly happening and even the rumors that explained it was due to supernatural causes. Through the use of red and black drawings and paragraphs, Hernandez is able to convey the mysterious and sinister undertones that the article as a whole has when telling the story.
