“Fear is like a fire, it can burn you or It can fuel you. As an activist, I fear bearing witness to the extinction of an iconic species far more than I feared taking on and a poaching syndicate”- Jamie Joseph. A good journalist observes, documents, and expose current events to the public. On top of those things being a good journalist also entails being an activist for a cause you support. I choose to write about the Journalist who is actually in the world documenting and exposing ruthless poaching syndicates. Because they are genuinely searching for the truth and are using journalism to help them fight for a noble cause.
