ar is about a war correspondent Marie Colvin who goes to great lengths and suffers to provide raw, experienced and jaw dropping information to others. She goes through gunfire, suffers the loss of an eye while reporting on the Sri Lankan Civil War. Marie Colvin was such a dedicated correspondent; she was brave and not afraid to get the truth out of a story. She often troubled with being a female and being looked weak upon the story she was covering but wanted to covey the truth through her stories “ I feel that we’ve failed if we don’t face what war does, if we don’t face the human horrors and tell people what really happens when all sides try to obscure the truth” and did everything her could to achieve that. . Not only did she lose her eye while reporting a story she died from an explosion due to covering a story. She used many rhetorical strategies to get curtains things out of people who you very often not give her the time of a day, she had a talent of persuasive writing and having a raw perspective.
