While scrolling through Newseum something that sticks out quite noticeably is just how similar each front page looks to one other. One would think that they would be drastically different in order to stand out, but the reality has it that most newspapers - even the local ones - share very similar formatting details, with the title of the paper as big as possible at the top followed by the story of the day (with pictures to accompany it, of course), and then ads with the other notable stories. Though none of the papers may stick out, or some of the stories may be identical, take the "How one-dose vaccine compares to the others," story, for example, it may actually be beneficial for each individual paper to blend in since this particular design must work if everyone uses it.
