Allen, TX is a city where everyone feels safe to keep their doors unlocked, with residents who accept others and welcome new citizens into the community. But on Friday the 21st, that was questioned. Around 1:00 in the afternoon, a shooting broke out in The Gates apartment building across from the AHS Football Stadium, leaving on man wounded. After police were called and involved in the crime, "three suspects are in custody, [and] one suspect took off and has not been caught." I asked a fellow student and they believe that this crime was very unusual and not normal in Allen and hopes that the Allen PD is able to find the last suspect involved.
