Cindy Royal says in her article(https://www.niemanlab.org/2019/12/prepare-media-students-for-skills-not-job-titles/) “Communication proficiency must be taught in a digital product context to prepare students with relevant and desirable skills, regardless of job title.” This quote details that there is a flawed way of thinking among individuals. This means that instead of thinking we need to be prepared for the job title we're after, we should be determined to master the valuable skills graduates need. Media students need to be chasing the expertise of the in-demand skills needed to work the dream job title they're after. Every major company is trying to make their mobile application more attractive and easy to use. Every major company is going to be hiring people they think can make their online app better for the customer, this is where the valuable skills come in. Chase after the skills and job titles will follow.
