We all came across this idiom, and it was basically meant for us as advice to do something positive. Most people believe that actions are more powerful than words, but what about all the people that motivated us with just words. I think both of them can have a different meaning in a different context. We came across many famous quotes, and it motivated us without having a person to perform an action. In our lives, words do mean a lot, maybe not as much as actions, but we shouldn't disregard words. "In our society, a person who talks, but does not act is often considered to be misleading." That is why I believe that the things you say will always matter, even if you act the opposite.
