Avoiding Fake News

Fake news seems to circulate a lot faster than the truth in current times. People will go to great lengths to make rumors seem real just to create tension. While social media is great for entertainment, it is also the place where "42% of traffic to fake news sites come from." Some people do not understand that not everything that is on the internet is real, and creators of fake news use that to their advantage. The most convenient solution to this issue is for internet users to learn how to filter through the information that they come across online.
