In this third installment on how news sources grab readers , we will compare the use of titles from two news companies, BBC and Fox ,and how they intrigue and pull the audience in. In a 13 feb 2020 post from BBC: "A turtle fossil the side of a car is discovered in South America", they use over dramatization to pull readers into reading about their article. There is a term used for this- Click bait- that uses false or misleading information to grab a readers attention. However BBC is very reliable, this article seemed to fall through its cracks. Fox also made an article on this however it was based on huge numbers to attract its audience in its feb 13 post: 10M-year-old turtle had 8-foot-long shell and weighed nearly 2,500 pounds, study says
