Breaking the News: English Style

After reading a US article about Prince Phillips' death, I decided to look into an english news station's report. BBC is known as one of Great Britain's main broadcasting centers, and is known for their relationship with the Royal Family. While reading the article, I noticed that it was consistently updating with new details, and while it was updating it mentioned the time it was updated. Most of the article consisted of how people are paying tribute to Phillip, versus how New York Times tended to go into detail about Phillips’ life. BBC focuses on how countries are reacting to the passing of the prince as well. Wales has paid tribute by “Flags at many civic buildings are flown at half-mast and Senedd election campaigning is suspended.” While reading the BBC article, within 10 minutes it was updated 5 times with more details and news. https://www.bbc.com/news/topics/c8nq32jwn4rt/prince-philip-duke-of-edinburgh
