Fake News continues to be one of the biggest controversies in our modern world right now. Many people continue to try and stop the movement of fake news one of those contributors is scientist Marc Ambinder. Ambinder has been researching this topic for many years and found that, “All platforms need to set up viral ‘circuit breakers’ so they can immediately assess whether rapidly shared material is harmful to election integrity or public health,”(Ambinder). 1 in 5 Americans get their news from social media and it has been found that most of the fake news generates from social media.
