The career field of journalism is not talked about often, despite it being one of the primary ways people can get their information. In accordance to the article I read, The rise of radical newsroom transparency, that is going to change. With the increase in fast traveling information and an ever-growing audience, journalists can get out news stories along with their personal stories and experiences. People working in the journalism field are becoming more outspoken and can freely discuss things such as “salaries or their experiences in their workplaces” without it feeling taboo. This change in the journalism field is helping expose abuse in agency management that previously went unpunished.
