Climate change is here whether we accept it or not. Straight facts are hardly changing minds, so now climate journalists are getting creative to help spread awareness of this monster we have created. Sonali Prasad, a Knight Science Journalism Fellow at MIT, makes a call for how different perspectives from these "other minds" can help shed light to free the population from this "giant Kraken" that is piecing its tentacles into every aspect of our daily lives. Prasad calls on a variety of creative minds such as graphic designers, performers, poets, and even gadget nerds to help "...lay their breadcrumb trail of ideas, covering the science and the hard-hitting impacts that drive decisions. Through their different forms, they will challenge the inflexibility of our thinking." (prasad) The opportunities that collaboration brings to media coverage is endless. To help fight this beast commonly known as climate change, we need to allow those with a wide range of backgrounds to come together and solidify a future for mankind with a personal plea from their own diverse experiences.
