The article that Aaron Foley wrote, Diversity gains haven’t Shown Up In Local News, “What general-market local newsrooms fail to understand is that readership is inextricably tied to representation.” States how diversity have not gained support in local news, journalist of color has cried out for years to be recognized, to be seen, to be heard, to be given a chance. It’s no longer acceptable, while shouting the journalistic industry is to white, to straight, and holds to much white male mainstream press.
