Combating Fake News

Fake news is everywhere. Fake articles, clickbait, you name it. People are surrounded by false advertising and such, especially on the internet. The internet is swarming with fake articles and photoshopped pictures, sometimes I don’t even know what is real and what isn’t. “False information is news, stories or hoaxes created to deliberately misinform or deceive readers.” In order to avoid seeing or much less believing false information on the internet, the reader must first utilize all of their sources and then use their critical thinking skills in order to conjugate the best explanation. Even though it may seem difficult to avoid believing fake news, it definitely is possible but may require some deeper thought.
