Congrats Mr. Baquet

You might not know this man but this is Dean Baquet, he recently just got awarded the 37th annual Walter Cronkite Award for Excellence in journalism. He is also the New York Times executive editor ever since 2014 and overseas over 1,400 reporters. Mind you, he is the first African American to be a New York Times executive editor in the 170 years of the creation of it. The State Press made an article about him and his speech as well. During his acceptance speech, he was very much humble and talked on the future of journalism saying ""A great reporter is always open to being proven wrong," he said. "At its best, journalism is the process we have built to come as close to the truth as humanly possible. We should be open to the challenges of that process". He is a man that has seen the ups and downs in journalism, however, regardless of it he always looked to seek the truth and was eager for the challenges to come as well. Congrats Mr.Banquet.
