Recently, the CDC calmly reported the corona virus will spread to the U.S through flights and airports, and that the american public should use proper hand and respiratory hygiene. The CDC stated these as facts in an update to ease the american people with logical statements and reassuring predictions. However, Buzzfeed, a trending news company, recently published an article titled "I Fled China 8 Months Pregnant During The Coronavirus Outbreak. Here's Why I Think You Shouldn't Panic." (Buzzfeed). Although both articles cover the spread of the sickness, Buzzfeed attempts to use emotional click bait and an eye-catching title to suck readers in, compared to a government funded health agency stating facts and scientific medical prediction on the spread of the virus.
