Cost of canceling California high school football

rwestervelt1

California football has decided to delay its season even longer due to the coronavirus pandemic and this could be a higher cost than some might think. Although there is still hope for seniors to have a final season, this delay could be vital to players looking to play at the next level. Most NCAA teams have already made their decisions on who to sign next year and some players wanting to fight for a spot on the team did not get their chance to prove themselves with a senior year. Whether a player got injured the year before or would potentially have a bigger role next season, neither got a chance to prove to colleges they can play. This author uses pathos describing how players are missing out on the most important year of their lives if they want to play college ball and were being ripped of the opportunity to prove themselves.
