Besides New Zealand, Taiwan, and Australia, Vietnam is one of the countries which settle Covid-19 under control. Based on an article from Insider magazine, “Vietnam was ranked 2nd for successfully handling the coronavirus pandemic, and its contact tracing was so good it barely had to lock down.”
Due to the fact that Vietnam have strict regulations against people travelling back to Vietnam. As it’s issued by the government, the Vietnam Embassy only allow/accept requests of coming back to Vietnam since they are Vietnam citizens and have a reasonable reason.
The process of quarantine is also managed by the government as well. As everyone has to be gathered in a concentration camp after landing back. They will get a rapid test at the airport and one more at the camp. The next 3 tests are performed in the first 3 days at the camp. The temperature should be measured every morning. Therefore, all supplies are provided and if there’s request of anything. For people travelling by bus or ships into Vietnam, they have to be under the same quarantine process. In case anyone who escaped or doesn’t report to the local government about their travel, they will be immediately quarantined at a camp.
If there’s anyone who contracted Covid-19, wherever the patient travel to will be under quarantine.
My family even said, “We’re so happy that the government do that.”
I wish we could have strict regulations about quarantine here so less people would be suffering.
