Nowadays, COVID-19 testing is more common and accessible for everyone. In April, 2021, Lucira Health, Inc. (Nasdaq: LHDX) launched their testing kits.“LUCIRA COVID-19 All-In-One Test Kit reactive to at least 99.9% of all known COVID-19 virus strains” (Yahoo). Instead of going to testing center, people can now do by themselves at home. “Users get the test device, two AA batteries, sample vial, swab and simple instructions.” According to my mom, “doing test at home is great because if I have it, I don’t spread to anyone else at the testing site. Not only that, I save other people’s time. I know during this time, front-line medical workers are very busy.”
It’s easy to use the testing kit. When the test result is ready, green light would show “negative” or “positive” after 30 minutes.
