A group of anti-COVID vaccine activists created a video aimed to persuade created a video aimed to persuade British citizens to not receive the vaccine. Marianna Spring, a BBC reporter who specializes in disinformation, states that the video contained "33 people, many brandishing their credentials, often sitting in what look like medical consultation rooms" (par. 11). Because of this, the video seems real enough to be believable, thus leading many people to believe it was actually true because of the presence of people who looked like they knew what they were talking about. However, while the video has fooled a large number of people, many still see through the lie and make sure others know it is not telling the truth. These are the individuals who have had firsthand experience with the virus and know its true danger.
