Journalism as we know it is becoming less relevant, with extremely high competition between news outlets and the media it is almost impossible to compete. With the never ending involvement in finding faster and easier ways for information to be a “click away” the long articles of information are easy to draw away from. In the modern world people find most of their information on social media and the news, which takes away from the in depth articles that journalists put out. “Australia’s two largest legacy media organisations recently announced big cuts to their journalistic staff.” With the very little interest in journalism it has unfortunately affected major media organizations and caused them to have a fewer number of journalists.
