Comparing the titles and the images of the different news articles and how they all structure their newspaper is interesting to see because you get a perception of what they are achieving, visually. For Fairbanks Daily News-Miner they have their centerpiece right in the middle and very big with of course color, this is one of the more eye-catching placements I have seen and I automatically was attracted to it. It diffidently appeals more to logos because the reader knows the picture has major relevance and almost tells a story of its own while still complementing the text Another attribute I see in these different articles is the Ads for the newspapers are always at the bottom of the page, which seems obvious but for a consumer that reads newspapers, it’s good that it’s at least consistent for all newspapers.
