Dirk Nowitzki, the 20 year NBA veteran who retired from the league in 2019, reflected one year ago about his retirement saying "I can't believe it's been a year". Nowitzki, who hasn't talked about the 2 year anniversary (which occurs on the date of this blog post), has hidden from the public shadows enjoying a private retirement. The Dallas legend still stays active in the community, and also visits back home to his native country of Germany. Dirk was mostly recently in the public eye for reportedly texting JJ Redick that Dallas was a good location to be in to play, since JJ was hesitant.
