Disturbance in Kitsap County

Recently I have travelled to Washington, to spend the rest of the summer months with my Dad. Upon arriving, he told me an interesting story as we passed by a newly built restaurant in downtown Silverdale. He explained to me that there was a peaceful protest for the Black Lives Matter movement, organized by the local high school students. While they were on the street, they passed by this restaurant, when the owner stepped outside with a taser, openly making sure people could see it. He did this despite the fact that the protesters were simply kneeling and singing on the street, with the presence of law enforcement watching for any disruptions. Later on, when the owner was interviewed by the Kitsap Sun, he explained that he felt threatened from past experiences, and felt the need to bring the taser. Afterwards, many people of the communtiy have decided to boycott his restaurant.
