Do social media and news mix?

Snapchat is one of the most famous social media apps known to society. Anyone living in this day and age most likely uses this app.

With such a huge following snapchat has used and expanded its platform to reach many news sources to be another outlet to readers. Snap chat has done and excellent job portraying these news outlets, Greta Klammer states "After opening the story I was again surprised by how similar the layout was to an actual newspaper or tabloid."

Snapchat has really out done themselves compared to Facebook, where as they have added the news aspect to the app, but kept it still very true to the original news article.
