Facebook "Fake News"

kgoodwin

Facebook is the most popular social media that it used for connecting with friends and getting the most up to date news. But a lot of users on Facebook seem to have a hard time separating whats real and what's "fake news". An article on politico states "that over 40 percent of the coronavirus-related misinformation it found on Facebook." This statement is not surprising to me because I have been seeing and hearing tons of different information about the coronavirus and I’m positive it's coming from some social media source. This “fake news” is not helping us get through this pandemic, it is only making things worse. https://www.politico.com/news/2020/04/16/facebook-fake-news-coronavirus-190054
