Getting hacked is the last thing that social media users want to happen to them. Surprisingly, even the creator of the social media app can get hacked too! Just when we thought that they have the most security and protection. Not too long ago, Facebook got hacked by a group of hackers named OurMine. This was a hacker group that went around and hacked as many big platforms as they could. They got to Twitter before they hit Facebook. They made a post on Facebook's wall about how Twitter does not even have good security "Hi, we are OurMine. Well, even Facebook is hackable but at least their security is better then Twitter'' (BBC). It is important that everyone who uses social media, always has a strong password and turns on their two authentic factor security which makes it even harder to try and log in or hack. If Facebook can get their own page hacked, what makes you think that this can not happen to anyone else... in reality, this can happen to everyone, you just have to be careful with what information you put on your social media and how you take care of it.
