In the present day, there is a global pandemic going around called coronavirus or COVID-19. It all started in Wuhan, China and we have been trying to stop the spread. According to BBC, multiple world leaders have allegedly found a cure to this virus. Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro "claimed hydroxychloroquine was totally effective in treating the virus". He posted this information on several social media platforms which was seen by thousands of citizens from his country. President Donald Trump and Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro also shared their treatments via social media, which both included the same drug Bolsonaro claimed to work. Although, all of these leaders' posts were taken down by social media platforms for "combating medical information" as they are not unproven treatments to COVID-19. People should go see a doctor or medical official instead of trusting online treatments because there have been many other fake cures spreading on the internet.
