Watching food commercials has always been mouth watering. However, not a lot of people know that what they are being shown is fake. Several food advertisers use tricks to make food look more delicious. One example is that "pancakes absorb real syrup too quickly to photograph, so photographers replace it with engine oil." This is simply one of several shocking tricks that the food advertisers use to make their food look better in an attempt to deceive consumers into buying their products. It is definitely a smart move in terms of public rhetoric because people would be less inclined to buy these products if the real look is portrayed.
