What exactly is “fake news”? Fake news is understood as it sounds, it is fake. It is information that is not true and misleading. Most people create fake news because it is easy to play “mind games” with people and to play with their emotions by making them believe something that may or may not be true. “People who produce fake news use a foolproof trick, highly prized in advertising: they play on our emotions”. The strategies that are being used to fool people varies in different situations. Most people will go to the internet and post something that is fake and many people will believe it and share it with others. Some people will go out and say a false claim on someone and many people will believe it. So the main rhetorical strategy that is being used is lying to make something believable.
