Fake News Leads To Confusion

According to nor.org, on January 16th 2019 a fake article was distributed all throughout Washington D.C. under the name of the famous article, the "Washington Post". This article had the word "Unpresidented" written at the top with the title under it being "Trump hastily departs White House, ending crisis". It was written by a left-wing activist and explained the fake news of Trump leaving office after 6 months after the midterm without saying anything. This left many citizens confused and frustrated, especially since the date on the article was May 1st, 2019, but the more the papers were distributed the sooner the Post's PR team found out the news was fake.
