Fake News On Social Media

jfoote61

Social media has made it pretty easy for people to gain news access. With no time in people’s daily life, social media can share all the news info you need. However, fake news on social media has become a huge problem recently. According to an article by Jason Riddle of Arkansas Little Rock, fake news can be “spread as easily as pushing a button”. For example, twitter has the ability to let anyone post on it. When Donald Trump had lost the 2020 election, he would go on twitter and post untruthful things. He was trying to persuade people that the election was rigged, when there was no evidence that it was. These apps and platforms allow anyone to go on there and share fake news with people.
