All readers really need to do to avoid stumbling across these fake articles is to only get their information from trusted sources. For example, if someone wants to learn about the current news, they should go to a trusted site, such as Fox News or CNN, instead of selecting whatever random story pops up on Google or their social media feed. If readers do this, they will be less likely to read a "fake news" stories.
