In today’s modern world social media is the main source of information. But the information is not always correct. According to a new report, “one in three people [across the world] say they have seen false or misleading information linked to the coronavirus” (Scott par. 1). The highest area of reported area of false information is in Spain and Argentina with 40% saying they have seen false information on the topic. Reporters say there the problem of fake news can not be solved overnight and will need the help of the community to solve it. Social media platforms are taking action and either taking down false information posts or flagging them as wrong information. [1 image, 1 link, 1 quotation, 114 words]
