Information can travel through many ways such as conversations, social media, texting, and the internet. Whether it be topics on politics or trending media posts both contents can be affected in reporting fake news. An article titled "The year we rebuild the infrastructure of truth" written by Zizi Papachariss discusses the importance of finding the truth in journalism. Papachariss explains how journalists are trained to "find the truth" in an age where information can be manipulated to create false images. The author discusses the need to prioritizing reporting factual information rather than creating a story that has strayed from the topic or even stretched the truth for entertainment. In reading, I understand the overall message of having media put out stories that are honest and true.
