The front page of a news outlet is very important, it can tell the reader multiple ideas or thoughts just by a glance. Most, if not all companies such as the “New York” Times or the “Washington Post” use similar strategies to appeal to their readers. The way we perceive all this information is in chunks spread across the page. You can spot them by either pictures, different texts, and the size of the text itself.The main idea is meant to always be clear and visible to the reader so its importance is made more noticeable when seen in bigger text sizes. All of the details regarding the main idea are written in much smaller text as to not bombard the reader with too much information at once.
