With our technology and programs evolving every day, we now receive breaking news in seconds. However, with the rise of social medias and free news outlets, traditional news outlets are struggling to keep themselves at a profit. However some news companies are finding new and innovative ways to reward their paid subscribers, while still giving the mass public free access. In his article, "Respect the non paying audience." (https://www.niemanlab.org/2020/01/respect-the-non-paying-audience/) author Don Day describes the process of " Rewarding your subscribe with instant headlines, and then eventually after releasing the full story to the public. As hypothetical as this strategy seems, it could catch on like wildfire in today' technological age.
