The saying "don't judge a book by its cover" is just a old little myth right? Don't we ALL judge books by their cover? That saying applies to news sources and papers as well. While maybe some people don't judge, I know most people aren't willing enough to read or even look twice at anything that doesn't grab their attention. Thus, giving news sources a great amount of pressure when creating content for us readers. The way they brodcast this information is ultimately targeted at their audience, for instance when comparing a newspaper article in Canada when Trump was impeached, it was titled "Trump Thumped" whereas a U.S article titled theirs "House Impeaches Trump". The difference in titles and pictures of the president used showed the different audiences that both newspapers are appealing to. Canda, using humor to make fun of the U.S president whereas the U.S article is direct and serious.
