Front page for a reason

The front page of a news report is one of the most important things the reader see. The reason for this is because it is one of the first things a reader will see and if it doesn't catch their attention then they might not read your news at all. Most of the outlets take the same approach to creating their first page, big pictures and different size text to reveal what is most "important" to the reader. They also include multiple different stories or adds that could refer back to the main topic of the article.
