Ghost-town Airports

Meredith McCarty

If you must fly they're several precautions you must follow, even though airports are some of the emptiest they have ever been. Due to the fact that America is in a shelter in place, air travel has decreased dramatically in efforts to help slow and reduce the spread of Covid-19. However some people still find the need to fly home, as a result of emergency, or otherwise. College students often need to fly home and end up on flights with only five other passengers. Several flights are taking social distancing precautions and making passengers sit several seats apart to further prevent the spread. "All airlines have been practicing increased sanitation and onboard cleaning." Even though it seems like a no-brainer, people are also encouraged to bring their own sanitary products as well.
