Journalists aren't just reporters, they tell stories, help the reader answer questions, like, how Covid-19 affects the body. What are the long effects? Should they postpone a family gathering? Or how to safely bury a loved-one during a pandemic, these are all good questions that journalists set out to find for the public. As the pandemic worsened, more civilians lost their jobs and had to file for unemployment or try to avoid being evicted, or if the government was going to help the american people. It's important that media influencers find the most fractal evidence they can find. For journalists to deliver the best information they must “engage journalism needs to be integral to how we report the news, not a side effort we roll out on occasion”. (Kristen Muller) When individuals seek support they are looking for facts that can best assist them and their families.
