He changes my attitude towards news

When I thought of my favorite journalist, I would say absolutely Anderson Cooper, who is an CNN news anchor. Firstly, he is a very good-looking man and has distinguished himself with his snow-white hair. He looks calmed, professional and because he gets used to frown, which makes him looks a bit serious but not harsh.

Other than good looking, he is a very professional journalist and news anchor. Actually, I didn't know much about his previous job experience. It is said that he received a lot of attention when in 2005, he spent more than a month to report the Hurricane Katrina and keep trace the reconstruction progress. And now he has his own show “Anderson Cooper 360°”. I really appreciate his working style: depth, measured, objective and not aggressive. He is sympathetic but also calmed and neutral. He won’t give in easily but at the same time he also trys to respect his interviewers. During an interview with Las Vegas mayor, Anderson Cooper's patience was tested by the mayor's confusing speaking. However, instead of interrupting her abruptly, what he did was "At one point Cooper removed his glasses, rubbed his eyes, and took a breath before continuing"(Lahut).

I used to avoid watching news because sometimes it seems like that some of anchors are very aggressive, prejudiced and arrogant. However, Anderson Cooper is thoughtful and professional, but also gentle, sympathetic. He really changes news and news anchors' stereotype in my mind.
