How Dallas is responding to COVID-19

If you've watched any news as of late, there is an overwhelming amount of stories about COVID-19 being published, and rightfully so. The virus is everywhere and effecting almost everybody. As an essential worker, my hours have been increased and so has the stress of my job, and I'm not the only one who feels this way. According to my coworker Cameron, a fellow high school senior and target employee, the virus has "taken over [his] motivation to get schoolwork done at home." For many high school seniors, the lack of prom and graduation can be deterring when it comes to finishing classes and getting work complete. And with Dallas County on lockdown until May 20th, it's likely this lack of motivation will continue.
